BEHIND THE LENS

My first camera was a 110 given to me when I was about 10. Ever since then, I have had a camera in my hand. After completing courses in darkroom techniques, I turned the laundry into one. My first job was printing black and white images for a professional photographer. After a while I was joining him on wedding and portrait shoots.

 

Back then, we were using Hassleblad cameras. I managed to convince my boss that 35mm film was the way to go and that black and white images were back in vogue. I photographed my first wedding when I was 18.

 

Digital cameras have changed many things. I still love photographing weddings, only now I am able to take far more shots than I ever did with film and create truly beautiful images.

 

I have also studied graphic design and love creating albums to really tell the story and preserve the memories. Aside from weddings, capturing the moments of families, babies, pregnancy, couples, kids and animals are all things I love.
